Yoga Gangster

Today (and yesterday) have been seriously just amazebeans, as far as days go in my books.

I finished week 10 of Kaylas BBG yesterday (only 2 more weeks of 1.0 to go before I start round 2.0!!!!!), went on a 2 mile interval sprint run this morning, went shopping (for foodΒ andΒ clothes – score!) and got a loooot of blog work done! I feel on fire about life, and when one feels like that it means its the perfect opportunity to use that creative energy to go and kill it!

I also found out today that not only am I a Fit Fluencial Ambassador – I am also a Sweat Pink Ambassador (check my sidebar – omg!)Β so I am feeling some major transcendence about life right now! Despite the slightly grey and cloudy weather – I took it outside today because I was feeling pretty great and wanted to shoot some Yogi-style photos for my blog (obviously featuring the new activewear I bought)!

A very special thanks to my camera-girl slash baby sis Desiree, who will be paid for her efforts in Gluten-Free brownies. πŸ˜‰

Humble Warrior – a trait that my Mum taught me, and one of the most important things you can be in life.

My progress on the Bird of Paradise!

(Like I said.. I feel on fire about life which is reason to dance!)

This picture had to be included because Yoga isn’t all about being serious, having the perfect form or the best body. In my opinion, Yoga is about connecting to your foundation and appreciating the awareness you have of your surroundings and of your life. For me, I’m super aware of how happy and content I am with the place that I am mentally, spiritually and physically (the basis of any Holistic approach), and I sincerely hope that you are too.

Since that is easier said that done, and may not be the case right now, do not give up. Keep coming back to yourself, to your hopes and to your dreams, and work on them each day. Happiness is a choice, and your thoughts each day manifest themselves in your life. What you sow in your mind is what you reap in your life, so plant seeds of positivity and kindness. I want you all to be happy, and that is why I started my blog, and I hope that even in the smallest way, that I can help at least one person achieve that.

So smile, laugh, dance like a fool, fall in love, go after your dreams and take risks, you only have today to make it happen.

Yoga, for me, is always about improving and progressing. Even that though is not linear.

    1. That’s another amazing aspect of Yoga – always coming back to the mat to grow and evolve! πŸ™‚ Good for you!
